EUCLIDTRACK

What is it?

EUCLIDTRACK is an experimental synth workstation with a singular focus: generating melodies through euclidean sequencing and pitch modulation with LFOs. Four tracks, each with its own synth voice, euclidean sequencer, and effect chain, all driven from the Brick’s buttons. Sixty four scenes, four modulators per track, twelve performance macros, generous saturation with many drive algorithms, a hybrid morphing delay/reverb with a resonator and a shimmer stage, and a mixer that lets you build a feedback network for unique organismic (and slightly dangerous) results!

Despite having very fundamental differences on generating sound, the UI/UX is very similar to Torso S-4 (read along and you’ll understand why) so if you know your way around it, you’ll feel right at home with EUCLIDTRACK, at least once you get used to keyboard/gamepad controls.

Please check the MANUAL.md distributed with the download for an extensive user manual. If you somehow don't have an MD viewer (why?) you can use an online website to view it (you'll miss the icons though).

Recommended terminal size: 60×20 or larger. 

It's highly recomended to use a modern terminal emulator such as iTerm2, Kitty, Rio etc with a monospace nerd font.

Windows build is experimental. Some users reported using Cmder terminal helps with various keyboard related issues.

IMPORTANT

• ‼️You may need to enable "Option as Meta Key" in some terminals (e.g: macOS default terminal), otherwise Alt+Key combos don't work. (most decent terminals have this on by default) If you don't know how to do this, it takes ~10 seconds googling it :)

TrimUI Brick Version

• A TrimUI Brick version is available on PakStore  (you'll need NextUI on your Brick)
• If you use a different firmware (MinUI, Knulli etc) you can download the Pak here and follow the installation instructions here.
